Fees & transparency
Payluk shows what you will pay before you commit. The full fee breakdown is always shown in the app before you confirm.
Personal escrow
2.5%
Of the escrow amount. Paid by the buyer, the seller, or split 50/50, as agreed on the escrow.
Merchant escrow
2%
Payluk's fee for businesses using the API or Checkout. Merchants may add their own commission or delivery fee, which is always shown before the buyer pays.
Deposits & withdrawals
- Bank-transfer deposits and Payluk wallet transfers: free
- Card top-ups: 1.5%, plus ₦100 for amounts above ₦2,500
- Bank withdrawals (minimum ₦1,000): ₦10 up to ₦5,000, ₦100 from ₦5,001 to ₦50,000, ₦50 above ₦50,000, plus 7.5% VAT on the fee, charged on top so you receive the full amount
